Greg Swann

A true Texan, Greg Swann was born in Houston, Texas and at 16, his family moved to Lufkin, TX. Greg taught himself guitar at an early age, and also began singing. His first concert was Don Williams, and he cites his musical influences as George Strait, Alabama and George Jones. He formed a band in the 90s and performed throughout Texas, winning multiple awards and even charting on Texas radio. While travelling to a Nashville showcase for a major record label, Greg’s career came to a screeching halt as he was badly injured in an automobile accident. After years of recovery from the accident and other personal trauma, Greg is back – channeling his experiences into his music and is looking forward to whatever the future may hold for him.
